Maplewood Kitchen and Bar

THE ASK:
To design a restaurant like no other in Cincinnati with a Southern-California vibe. It needs to be a brunch spot destination.
CHALLENGES:
The site was a large, empty building with 22ft high ceilings and concrete pillars throughout.
THE ANSWER:
Breaking up the volume of space by creating different seating zones throughout the dining space to allow guest options. Specialized touches were: menu rail along the order queue, custom millwork pieces on the cashwrap, booths and bar, eclectic lighting, suspended trellis with ferns, marble backbar with wine on tap.
