THE ASK:

Design an environment that compliments the food offering of burgers and can beer, while celebrating the energy of the Cincinnati OTR neighborhood.

 

CHALLENGES:

This space used to be a former restaurant that pioneered the development of OTR restaurant row. For Krueger’s to be successful, the space had to be re-invented and take on it’s own language.

 

THE ANSWER:

The authenticity of the architecture was celebrated by exposing the original brick and cladding the existing tile with wood. Accent lighting played a large role along with speciality framed moss.
